Pupillage
3 Hare Court is committed to providing high quality training for those wishing to pursue a career at the Bar. We aim to have two pupils at any one time and will consider applications for twelve, first six or second six month pupillages.
We provide generous funding (currently up to £32,500)
We cannot guarantee that pupils will be offered a tenancy, but there is work and accommodation for new members. We look to recruit each year from among our pupils. We are committed to the Equality Code for the Bar and are members of OLPAS, the Bar Council’s Online Pupillage Applications Scheme.
Please see our Policy for Selection of Pupils and Tenants ; for our Guide to Pupillage at 3 Hare Court ; Specimen Pupillage Contract; and details of advocacy training for pupils at 3 Hare Court.
Applications for pupillage are through OLPAS.
All queries should be addressed to Mike Oliver, Chambers Administrator.

There is no requirement for pupillage applicants to have undertaken an assessed mini-pupillage. The results of assessment will however be taken into account when selecting for interview and pupillage.
